ICE Release After Hale Jail

The research did not find a source showing Hale County Jail as a current ICE contract detention facility. A person can be released from local charges or local custody and still be moved to immigration custody. If they do not, the sheriff's transfer entry and the court file may provide enough identifiers to support a more accurate locator search. Keep each date tied to its system: local release date, ICE custody status date, and any court date are separate facts.
